The Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) invites you to experience part of the ‘Mega Diversity’ wonders of Malaysia.

Conducted by the oldest local environmental NGO in Malaysia, this special packages includes scientific and nature conservation guides from members of the Malaysian Nature Society who will showcase the beauty and special features of wild Malaysia and also highlight the challenges and aspirations of conservationists in relation to the aims of the CBD

Proceeds will go towards the Nature Society’s Kuala Selangor Nature Park Fund, Environmental Education Fund and the Dark Caves Conservation Fund. Join Us, Support Us and let us show you our Diversity!

Depart Kuala Lumpur at 0900 hours.

 

The traveling time from Kuala Lumpur is about 2 1/2 hours. On arrival, take a short rest and proceed to trek the Pine Tree Hill. The section of your trek is moderate and  entail about 2 hours plus for a return journey (full trek is 4 -5 hours to reach the peak). The trail is a favorite place among aspiring botanist, birdwatchers and trekkers as well. Part of the trail is a very pleasant walk among the 'woods' and you can enjoy spotting varieties of plants e.g pitcher plant, fungi, orchids etc

 

You can also find a number of the plants are endemic and unique to this area such as Sonerilla fraserii, ginger plants etc. As for fauna, one might be lucky to spot the  Malayan tapir's print along the trail.

 

Mineral water, lunch and tea is provided.

 

The duration of tour is 8 hours departs at 0900 hours - daily departures available upon request.
