Taman
Botani is located on the Northern section of Precinct 1. It has
been designed as an Acadia or a national sanctuary for the
Malaysian living collection of plant taxonomy as well as a centre
for education and research.
The first phase of the park is now opened to the public. The
facilities provided and the plants collection under display are as
below
1. Visitor Interpretative Centre which consist of Interactive
Exhibition, Restaurant, Gift Shop
2. Explorer's trail - Canopy Bridge, Heliconia Trail, Vine Garden,
Cafeteria
3. Palm Hill
4. Sun Garden - Floral Steps, Orchid Path
5. Floral Gardens - Floral Steps, African Collection, Tropical
American Collection, Bougainvillea Tunnel, Asia Pacific Collection
6. Lakeside - Pandanus Walk, Lakeside Cafe, Canna Walk, Fern
Garden

Opening hours
Park:
Daily - 7.00 am to 7.00 pm (including public holidays)
Visitor Interpretive Centre Opening hours
Tuesday to Saturday - 10.00 am to 6.00 pm Sunday, Public holidays
and School holidays- 10.00 am to 7.00 pm
Monday - Closed (except Public Holidays)
Entrance Fee : RM2.00 for adults and children of 5 years and above
